Tom threw himself, shoulder first into the crowd with enough torque to stop an 18 wheeler.
The first rebel died on impact, as Tom's shield flung his corpse into the second and third men.
At the rear another man stood with two personal guards overseeing the skirmish with a frown. He donned 3 UNSC rank badges, all with a bullet impact on them. One, the silver bars of a lieutenant, another the chevron of a private and lastly the eagle of a colonel.The smile on his face that arose when a stray chair that had been thrown found it's way onto Tom's chest gave the impression he was looking to add to his collection.
